Novel Workshop or Sudden Fiction
Writing@LSC is preparing to open again with
another round of Sudden Fiction, taught by Lee Heffner.
Lee has completed her manuscript "Neither Fish nor Fowl",
and is currently writing a book about Rockland in the 70's.
She reads a chapter per week on Live from Lincoln Street
Center aired at 93.3.fm in Rockland and 99.3 in Camden

If you are just starting to write your novel, or if you are
partway into your draft and find yourself looking for
guidance and inspiration, this is the workshop
for you. For those starting out, we'll work at developing
the material you'll need to create and sustain your novel's
characters and world. We'll get you started on the opening
chapters. Join us in a safe and supportive environment.
Class size is limited to six to ensure that everyone gets the
attention needed to take their work to the next stage.

This 6 week class for the novice to the most accomplished
writer will stoke the creative juices for one hour of writing,
and anyone who chooses to may read what they've done
to the group. Feedback will be given, if constructive, by peers.
Voices develop, confidence increases and prompts turn into
