Ronald Frontin Offers Serious Art Study Program

Ronald Frontin, Mid-coast Maine artist, shows with prestigious Gallery’s like Spanierman Gallery in New York City, and locally at Mars Hall Gallery in Port Clyde, Art of the Sea Gallery in South Thomaston.  His realist figurative oil paintings with heightened color are well-known and admired on the national level. 

Frontin, who has been sought after as an instructor, is now offering a program at Lincoln Street Center in Rockland.  His vision is to teach a group of serious artists over a long-term study, beginning with basic drawing, leading to painting, and eventually working with artists on marketing their mature paintings.  Beginning artists high school age and up are also welcome to participate in this course. 

The class has been moved to accomodate the number of students, into the larger space in our Dance Studio (First Floor) of Lincoln Street Center on Wednesday and Friday evenings from 5:30-7pm.  It is recommended that both weekly classes are attended, but flexibility will be given to those who can only commit to one session per week.  The first class was held on February 3rd, 2010. Another session may be added on Mondays.

Cost: $160 per 8 sessions
