Art Lessons for kids
For ages six up (or advanced 5's), How-To classes for beginning artists promoting sensitivity and creativity. Kids will learn proper use of paintbrushes, and pencils ranging from soft to hard graphite. Projects will include making original cards, and introduction to transparent watercolor painting. Emphasis on cleaning up each session develops good work habits.

Drawing the figure is classical training at its essence. Krisanne Baker leads High School age and up in Life Drawing as preparation for College portfolios, and for anyone in the community wishing to brush up on those drawing skills.
$110 includes model fee, $15 drop-in (please call to confirm session, 594-6490)
Art Classes with Catinka Knoth
Adult Watercolor (and drawing): Tues 10-Noon, Wed 6-8pm, Thurs 10-Noon, Fri 10-Noon.
Kids Art Classes: Wed 2:30-4, Thurs 1-2:30, 3:30-5.
Ongoing self-contained lessons vary in subject matter; animals, landscapes, buildings, figures.
